In discussing the Munich shootings in which nine were killed, former officer of the Central Bureau Investigation and military historian concluded that the massacre was a symptom of the end of European Civilization. One information warfare expert even rejected the idea of the shooting being an act of mental instability and pointing out the killing had “an element of planning”.
Information warfare expert Dr. Brzeski is criticizing mainstream media as well calling the coverage and treatment of the shootings “ministry of propaganda at work… it is self-censorship. There is nothing worse than self-censorship in journalism”. He went on to state his frustration at media’s reluctance to recognize the killings as an act of terror.
German Chancellor Angela Markel stood by her government’s choice that helped create the migrant crisis in an emergency press conference. Academics recognize the frustration of the German people while the government seems to not. “The Germans have had enough of this, which does not mean the government has had enough. These are two different approaches”.
Former specialist counter-terror police officer Mr. Wrona expressed his own concerns of the increasing amount of terrorism in France and Germany over the summer with the seemingly free reign of migration of Europe. The movement of people across Europe means free movement of illegal weapons from Eastern to Western Europe. The security expert said: “The whole Balkans are flooded with weapons, and from the Balkans have come two million people. Together with them came arms dealers, gangsters, drug dealers. Buying a Kalashnikov [Soviet automatic rifle] in Bosnia and Herzegovina is as it was with us after the war. You can buy one for peanuts”.
Even with the increase of weapons migration, Wrona and other experts are concerned more with the lack of confidence and faith of the people. “The worst problem for [the police service] is political correctness,” Wrona explains. “Europe is at the end of its existence. Western Europe is practically dead. These people live in a void, without ideas. And then come along the young, who [only want] to make money, as once did the barbarians”.
